FOUNDER OF BILUSS
Joseph Wesley, CEO
BILUSS was founded by Joseph Wesley, a professional athlete who played in the NFL for the San Francisco 49ers from 1999 to 2000 and the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2001.
Joseph attended Louisiana State University (LSU) from 1995 to 1998 and was a linebacker for the legendary Tigers football team.
When Joseph was at college, he received news that his family were forced to move due to financial hardship. The emotions he felt on learning this information are still remembered by him today. He experienced feelings of guilt from being powerless to help because he could not contribute financially. His team had just won a major bowl game and he had received an avalanche of new clothes, shoes, bags, and other gifts – but these gifts would be of no financial help to his family. He needed to earn money but could not due to the NCAA rules - and from here, the seeds of BILUSS were sown.
